jester's a cleric by trade, which means she's got a mix of support & attack spells. she vastly prefers to fight over heal, so at any given day she's going to be found with a chains saw lollipop (yep) over treating an injury. outside of general fighting spells, she's also found doing:
→ teleport herself & a willing target at her size ~200 feet.
→ shapeshift into a creature she's seen before for an hour.
→ summon an illusory duplicate of herself that can cast spells in her stead.
→ charm people & modify her memory (all of which will only be done with player permission)!
she has also: talked to corpses, force people to tell the truth, pinpoint a specific object. she can revive someone at the cost of a very expensive diamond.

What are your character's motivations? What drives them? Who are some important people to them, if anyone?
to live her life to the fullest, or something. she isn't particularly a driven, just happy to be here. she's happy to follow along with the rest of the group more oftentimes than not. a micro-instigator at most; the only time she's particularly pushy is if it involves trying to support someone she cares about!
she cares very deeply about her mama, her dad, the mighty nein... then following shortly behind that is literally every friend they've met along the way. she's got enough heart for everyone then some.
If given the chance, what would your character change about themselves or their circumstances?
nothing about herself, i don't think. Jester's strange in that she's very comfortable as who she is and absolutely overflowing with confidence in her identity, but the overabundance of that causes friction with the people in her life. she's so set in her ideas of how certain things should be (a grand, swept-off-her-feet romance!) that sometimes she overlooks or ignores the things right under her nose.
circumstances wise, i think she has a lot of what if's she wonders about. a little about what would have happened if she had been around for Molly's death, a little about what would have happened if she never left Nicodranas. A part of her misses how simple and straightforward things were, when she wasn't weighed with the potential of the end of the world — but she also doesn't know if she can give this burden to someone else.
Strengths? Favorite things?
being charming and annoying all at once! and being surprisingly emotionally available. instigating. having a good time.
sweets, the Traveler (or Artagan), happy people, grumpy people. a good romance. the mighty nein. her mama!
Weaknesses? Fears and phobias? Anything they regret or avoid?
exercising self-control, patience, or moderation. expressing sadness. reading a mood for once in her life. she's terrified of abandonment and loneliness above all else.
i don't think Jester is capable of regret — even as she sees the world and expands her views, there's very little that she wishes she hasn't done. what a weirdo. i think she often thinks about what would have happened if she could have saved molly (especially at her current point in time, because she's convinced that Lucien could be "good" again), but that's as far as it goes.
Where does your character fall on the moral spectrum? Are they the average, law-abiding citizen? A mischief-maker? A genocidal villain? What are some of the things they've done for or against the greater good?
( thanks d&d ) jester is chaotic neutral! she very much marches to her own drum and does whatever makes sense to her at any given time. over the course of the campaign she goes from being a very selfish individual to slowly understanding the art of compromise and the greater good; at her heart she is a good person, but more oftentimes than not she projects her wants as the "right" thing to do.
she does not give a shit about laws almost ever, though. she makes a point of vandalizing at every town she stops by, it would be weird if she gives a shit about laws.
